Tuesdays, 7-9pm
Hi World,
Welcome to the show.
Need a break from the stress of work/school/law breaking/portfolio managing/economic apocalypse/Ryan Seacrest/Final Cut Pro fails/physics class/theology/ideology/tautology/ drug-induced hysteria/classism/sexism/facism/racistism/ismismissives?
Well, welcome home.
I (Jill Silva(please don't approach me)) will be starting a new show on this wonderful platform called Radio Free Emily.
It's green for wisdom and prosperity.
This two hours of side-stitched bliss will contain: One Featured Comedian Each Week, and Several Selfish Plugs Made By Me on This Here Blog. So, in short: tune in for some laughs from some edgy mo-fo comedians.
A little bit about the layout: I will be compiling both released CD's and internet bits to fill my one-hour(although maybe it will be two) radio wave slot of some of my favorite stand-up artists workin in the grind today. If you have any comedians you'd like to see feature on here, give me shout and some clips and maybe we can arrange something.
This First Episode is:

Patton Oswalt
You may recognize him as the disheartening side kick from King Of Queens, or as the delightful, life-filled voice of Remmy in Ratatouille, or his recent indie stint Big Fan, or the blue collar fan in Man on the Moon, or Dollhouse or The Sarah Silverman Program or Flight of the Conchords or on Best Week Ever. Basically, this man is everywhere. He also sporadically does voices for several cartoons, as well as dabbles in writing and bookmaking(czech out the Serenity Comic currently lighting up the shelves: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=25748)
You may have stumbled across his website:
http://www.pattonoswalt.com/
(yeah, he's coming with a book it's gonna be AWESOME. You should follow my internet feet steps and preorder one too)
Or cyber stalk him on twitter:
http://twitter.com/#!/pattonoswalt
I would love to give a shortened bio of his life thus far other than his work, but personally, I think the fun of consuming comedy is within the personal tidbits you learn on stage(or on headphones, in yo case)
Let it be known, however, that he is one sassy man with a biting style and rampant opinions at which I often find myself nodding and laughing simultaneously.
I hope you enjoy.
